As parents, we keep a watchful eye on our children, we want to keep them safe, especially when they are young. That parental “instinct” was the key inspiration for this piece. Two watchful parents looking offscreen and keeping their cubs safe. I created this piece in 2011 using acrylic paint and colored pencils on illustration board.
