It was a real treat to work on a real monster of nightmares again. It was also a real pleasure to work with the amazing team at legendary SPECTRAL MOTION helmed by a legend in the industry, Mike Elizalde. Chauncey Beast was described to me as a teddy bear that housed an extra-dimensional entity of sorts and that it's full gigantic mutated form had the arachnid like physiology of the entity poking out of the teddy bear fur. I provided a range of diverse options and then develop it to a final design through detailed notes from the director Jeff Wadlow and production designer Meghan C. Rogers. It's thrilling to see this fuzzy monster in a Blumhouse film.
